Ive searched for an answer and havent really found it, so here goes. I have a 95 DX that has had the SRS light on since I got it and was wondering what it meant exactly and if it is something that just goes off after a certain number of miles. The car currently has 190000 miles and has never been in an accident. I was just wondering if this is a check light or if it is a serious problem. It has a stereo in it and they tried to steal one at one point, but it was before I bought it. Just wondering.

did you replace the battery or disconnect the battery recently?? if so try resetting the srs lite ,,,,,,,,if it comes back on you need to read the code , and post it here
