Default SS AUTOCHROME

I was just wondering , form personal experience, if any one has dealt with xspower or ss autochrome turbos. I have heard they are sh*t but if i only want to run 7 psi and nothing more will they be able to take it? I am just wondering because i would like to start boosting and they are the cheapest way but i dont want to harm my motor. I also heard the exhaust manifolds they make are sh*t as well and they crack but i can get a diff manifold to fix that problem. Please someone just tell me if this set up would be acceptable. Remember for just 7-8 psi. At top end.

Theres a member here who was doing a build to try and prove the SS Autochrome stuff was okay, but I haven't heard an update from him in a long while. Search the Turbo section, I think his screen name is 97turbocivic or something

Thanks, but yeah the ss autochrome topic is so hairy because some ppl say that some of their stuff is okay where as others say that they are crap. seems mostly that ppl that have owned their stuff say that it holds up except for the manifold where as ppl that have niot owned the products say that it is complete and utter crap. I dunno what to do.
