Stalling problem on 95 EX, 1.6L Vtec
I will be driving along and the engine quits. No warning, no sputtering, just death. If I try to start it back up right away, it just cranks.IfI wait a few minutes, it starts back up and goes for another 10 or so miles, then quits (sometimes it only goes 100yds). After reading some in this forum, Ireplacedthe main relay but that didn't work. I tried a new fuel pressure regulator but that didn't work. 6 months ago i replaced theignitor unit (ignition control module)and coilin the distributor. At the same time I replaced the cap and rotor. Put new plug wires and plugs. The fuel pump seems to be working ok. I checked for voltage to the pump, and it was ok. Today i checked for spark right after it died, and there was none. So now i believe it to be an ignition/electrical problem. I also notice that it seems to be idling low. It won't die when I stop, but it just seems low. Seems like it might be fluctuating a bit, but i could just be imagining it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
