Alright I just paid for a 92 hatchy and recently i've been experience start up problems, if i turn the key with out holding the gas pedal, it wont start and I'll be sitting there for a good 30 mins trying to start it up, but if I hold the pedal down it makes this purring sound while starting up then revs right up and I KNOW this isn;t good for my engine, so any suggestions to what this might be? My pops said possibly the gas filter ( I dont know if this has ever been changed ). Also Its not the batt because when I turn the key the first time I put the ac on blast, radio on, brights on, etc and everything works fine. Any suggestions?
