Default Starter Relay for 2001 Honda Civic LX Coupe

Hello, I have been having problems starting my car a few times a week. When i turn my key, the motor isnt turning over or making any noise. My initial guess is a starter relay. Can someone tell me where it is? And the part/model number or something of that nature? Thanks!

It's kind of rare for the starter relay to go bad. First check the starter switch located at the top of the clutch pedal and the starter itself.

Well it seems to be happening when its been hot. From what i've read hot weather failure to starts is a common symptom.

Ill check what you've mentioned.

See if it is the starter or something else by jumping from the battery + to the small wire on the starter. You can do this with the key off, you just want to see if the starter will turn.

If it's automatic, there is no relay, just a switch on the shift lever which breaks the circuit from the key to the starter if other than park or neutral. If manual there is a switch on the clutch pedal and a relay.
