Default Starting Problems

Alright, well my car is having a little problem. Sometimes it will just "click" when I try to start it, I have found that if I turn the key and try to start it 5 or 8 time it will all of a sudden start like theres no problem. Another thing that has now come up is when I get it started it will die after running for 2 seconds or so. I will let it sit for a few minutes then its ok and it starts fine.

Anyone have any ideas? I think its the dizzy. Car has 270,000 kms on it.

Check your battery connection! Have them REAL tight. If you grab the main wire and you can move it on the connector on the battery, tighten it!

I was gonna mention the battery cables too. I had an escort with a bad terminal and it did the same thing. that would be what I would check first.
