Exclamation Starting Problems.

So here's the low down. Just replaced everything under the car for a new front end. My 93 honda civic dx coupe sat for about 2 months, and now it will not start. The fuel pump works, it's getting fire, but it will not turn over. It just sits there and cranks, and cranks, and cranks. Please help, this car is my baby and I really need it back. There is no check engine light on for it either.

Do you hear it trying to kick over at all?

If it is just lay on the starter for about 15-20s, if it starts to stumble give it a bit of gas, stay on the starter until it's running. If it doesn't start give the starter a couple mins to cool off and try again.

It's common for cars to have starting issues after sitting for awhile. Also cranking it over and over can flood the engine.

You can also pull the plugs and put 3oz's of oil down each cylinder, LEAVE THE PLUGS OUT and crank the car. Then clean up the oil that was blown out and re-install the plugs. This will help re-seal the rings against the cylinder walls

We did all of that, and it still didn't start. Maybe timing is an issue in there?
