Default Steam Out of CD Player????

Okay, this is weird. I have an 02 Civic sedan and when I start it up with the AC on I get a few moments of "steam" out of the CD door. Not every time but fairly often. If I leave the radio off and AC on at startup, no prob. If I leave the AC off and the radio on at startup, no prob.

I checked that the condensate drain is free and working - it is.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.
