Nice work! I also love learning new things.

B10 does sound bad, and your plan of action with Honda seems reasonable. I will also post diagrams showing the locations of those ground connections.

By the way, given that battery voltage is 12V, B4 also is bad. (You turned ON the washer rather than the wiper, right?) You get to make use of the multimeter again. Here's how to test the switch:

By the way, it also would be informative to compare your B10 and B4 measurements with and without the parking lights ON.

Thanks for the additional info; the wiper switch checked out fine. So it's either the wire, or a poor test on my part, I'm not sure if I was able to probe that wire very effectively. The wipers were in the "on" position for that test and they were working properly. I'll give it another go tomorrow along with your idea of the parking lights on.

Will be calling the dealership on Monday morning to figure out if the recall had ever been done. I didn't purchase the car there; but it was originally bought there, either way VIN/recall should be in the system.

By the way, the B4 test is done with the washer switch ON.

LOL...that explains the micro-voltage reading. Washer works bueno, but I'll double check the voltage tomorrow anyhow.

Okay, the B4 test is probably fine. Keep in mind that, for the input tests, battery voltage means that you should measure 12V. I also think that you should repeat "all systems", "wiper", and "reminder" input tests in the diagram with and without the parking lights ON.

Hmmmm. Next try removing both fuse 30 and 32 or fuse 32 alone to see whether the intermittent wipers now fail to work with the combination switch turned to the parking lights position. I'm trying to pinpoint what part of the parking light circuit is triggering the intermittent wipers and the key and seat belt reminders to operate.

If the potentially new ignition switch doesn't explain some/all of it, I'll have to test next weekend. GF's MS is acting up so I'm a one man show around the house right now.

Sorry to hear about your Girlfriend's health problem.

I'm skeptical that a faulty ignition switch will explain the problems, though we need to wait and see.
