For those of you who'd like to not run into this situation, and really speed up the oil changes, I highly suggest investing $25 bucks in a "Fumoto Valve." My WRX has one, and its basically the ****
I'm considering getting one. Does having (or not having) the nipple make a difference? I have a '92 LX.
If you have a good sized waste oil catcher, don't bother with the nipple. The nipple makes it easier to run the waste oil back through a hose andinto smaller containers like empty oil bottles, etc..
