Red face sub frame

I am replacing the brake and fuel lines to a 97 Civic DX . I have a Haynes manual for this work so basicly I was working blind. It provided me with totaly correct, totaly usless information
It looks like I am past the point of no return so I need to lower the sub frame to acess the front end of the brake and fuel lines. The large bolts were surprisingly eazy to remove but the sub fram is not droping. I only need to lower it enough to replace the lines.
Any ideas?? Thank you in advance.
