I'm about to replace a Windshield on a 2000 Civic and wounder if anyone can offer any good words of advise. I have not done one in a long time. One question is do people put in new dams or just caulk it? I also know that people are not using the rope caulk much anymore but rather the caulk gun and tube.

 

When I got a crack in mine over the past summer, I paid $175 to have it replaced. I normally do all the work on my car, but this is something I wouldn't mess with.
