So, I crank up the heat all the way(max hot, and max fan, button for defroster pushed). But it just doesn't seem to defrost the windshield like it should. Some air seems to be blowing thru the front vents as well. Is there a common problem with the EKs? When warming the car, should I press the circulate button? Just odd, the Jeep will roast you out, but while it gets warm in the Civic, it doesn't get that toasty.

 

use the recirculate botton & you'll get a little more air,also you might try turning on the a/c button - it takes the moisture out of the air,& make sure the air is hot enough
