rear glass defroster

Default rear glass defroster

hey people a couple of week ago i realized that my rear glass heater was not working cause my glass get blurry bit the rain and i couln'nt defrost it .. what can possibly be the problem??? i push the button and turn on becasue the orange light turn on but the glass wont defrost

look back at the metal strips and see if they all connect... somehow a small piece was scratched off and only the bottom half of my window heats up now.

they make repair kits for defrosters like that. if i find a link i'll post it.

Check the fuse. The light on the button still lights up even if the fuse is blown (i know because the fuse on mine is blown right now and the button still lights up). The fuse for the rear defroster is in the fuse box in the engine bay, its a square pink fuse.

Yea i would check to make sure they are connected, if you have recently done anything to your rear deck. if not, i would try the fuse. if that doesnt work, i guess the dealer could fix it.

i know on my car, there are two little black boxs, that connect to the glass, one of them is broken off but it still defrosts pretty fast. but yeah man check the fuse for it, that is most likely your culprit
