98 civic CX with driver airbag only.(in steering wheel)
SRS light is on
what should i look for?

 

I think that model is old enough that you can put a test jumper wire in the ECU test plug, turn the key on but don't start, and the SRS light will blink out a code.

A common problem is breaking the "clock spring" that electrically connects the air bag on the wheel to the rest of the car. Does the horn work? It goes through the same part.

 

The horn works well off both buttons.
It's dark out now so i haven't checked for a code. New to a honda so not familiar with jumpering the ECU. What should I look for.

OBD2 doesn't show anything
