Default super chargers?

So I just wanted to know if superchargers were any good....I have a 95 civic dx coupe original engine and I'm tired of going slow....without spending too much money I wanted to invest in some good brakes/tires and some sort of bolton that could generate more power....

any thoughts?

also I live in the LA area andI'm sure there are plenty of honda clubs around but I wanted to know if any of you guys might know of some. I get tired of working on my car alone.

Anyway get back to me with thoughts/comments..............Thanks!

ugh, go to the turbo section and click on the stickies.......a supercharger especially on a D15b7 isnt going to do you any good, it leeches to make power so it is taking power from your engine through pullies to make power.........just get a turbo, more power!

superchargers on 4 cylinder cars suck. The efficiency rate is ver bad. However for 4 bangers, turbo charger is excellent. Supercharger is more for bigger engines like v6 and v8
