Suspension Issue?

Suspension Issue?
While driving into work today I noticed a light wobble in my steering wheel. I knew something was up so I slowed down. When I did so, I noticed the car was not moving smoothly at a low speed. It kind of felt like the wheels tighened up, then let loose and rolled fine, all within one rotations of the wheels. It's hard to describe but if anyone has an idea and input would be helpful.
I know I need to replace my front brake and rotors. Could this have something to do with it? Is it safe to drive for about another week?
Also it is a 2001 Honda Civic Dx.

If you or someone else recently took the wheels off to inspect the brakes, make sure the lug nuts are secure.
This is often a tire problem. Check the tire pressure. Examine the tires for any bulging or signs of being no longer round.
If a brake is dragging, that wheel will get noticeably hotter than the others after you drive a few miles without using the brakes.

wobble in the steering could be bad wheel bearings or maybe the wheel weights fell off but that would usually happen at higher speeds. it could also be warped rotors or a malfunctioning caliper but that usually happens under brakeing. jack the car up and grab the top and bottom of the front wheels there should be no vertical movement.
