swap question about d series and obdo-obd1
i have an 88 hatch that has a d series with what i believe is a 94 block attached to the 88 intake manifold, im buying a friends engine which is a D15b7 from a 95 with axels, tranny, and ECU. what is the process required to swap from obd0 to obd1? can i just rewire it? or will i have to buy a new wiring harness? im trying to go with the cheapest but still effective method here

just get a whole new wiring harness=easiest, not really very pricey either
alternatively, get an ecu conversion harness and distributor conversion harness

well the friend im getting it from is giving me the ECU and wiring harness that is in his car, a 95 coupe, so i should be able to just take out my engine and tranny and all that and put his in and hook it up and go?

Try and get the parts car right next to yours so can work progressively and not don't forget how the parts go after taking them off.
If your engine is still good, you can just change the intake manifold, distributor, etc. The block you have now should already be a D15B7. Unless you're also going from non-VTEC to VTEC.
