Question tachometer install 05 civic

i got my 05 civic and my tach thats been collecting dust 4god knos how long and finally guna put it in! but!: i need 2 kno where i put the green wire in my specific car or if any1 has a close idea! red=power / white=accesories / black=ground / green=negative on coil, but i cant seem 2 know where mine is or if i gota do sumthin diff. cuz i have coil paks! plz help thx hondja enthusiast

its the tachometer pulser wire you have to tap into. you have coil packs so im not sure where to find this wire but get a downloadable manual and it should tell you. **** im old school i have a 88 so mine has a dist and its easy. little blue wire comin out of the bugger. might be same color for you but id check first because their could be hundreds of blue wires in the car

I think it is still a blue wire you can find at the cluster-- even in models with no stock tach, but pull a diagram to be sure. In the distributorless system the tach pulses come from the ECU.
