aftermarket tachometer install

Default aftermarket tachometer install

my civic doesn't have a tachometer and i'm looking to install one. hoping to keep it under $100 but i have no clue where to start. is my car already wired for a tach? is so where? oh and it's a 94 lx.

It is already wired. You can swap to a cluster from an EX that had a factory tach, it is plug and play. The signal for an aftermarket tach can be found on the blue wire connected to the cluster.
