Help! My 2002 SHC Civic needed a new head gasket. I had the head remachined , new seals new Timing belt, tensioner, water pump. Even changed the oil pan gasket. I adjusted the valve clearance three times as it was my first time. Put everything back together. Engine starts up immediately, but the Check enginme light comes on and the "D" light blinks. When the coolant reaches temp, the idle goes up to about 2000RPM , sometimes it cycles down and then turns up again. The Diagnostic code says : TCM A/T Solenoid Valve A Fault Code. The car has very little pep when driven.

Just a guess: Before I started, I did try to pry the fuel pump relay off behind the glove compartment. There were 3 relays back there, and I couldn't pull any of them off, so I abandoned that attemp. I don't know whether one of them was the TCM.
