TDC sensor issues 2002 civic please help
I have a 2002 Honda Civic with about 215k miles. Hadn't had any major issues with it until recently when my alternator went out.
After replacing the alternator, my car started going into a limp mode intermittently and throwing code P1362 for either intermittent or no signal from the TDC or camshaft position sensor.
I replaced the sensor once and did the valve cover gasket at the same time, car ran fine for a few days and went back to limping again.
I looked around online and found it might be the sensor itself, so I ordered a different one and replaced it again. Still no luck
I used a voltmeter to test the wiring and found no issues, but I read online that Honda's don't do well with aftermarket sensors so i ordered an OEM honda sensor.
I just put that sensor in today, and now my car won't start at all.
Please help, I am running out of ideas
