anybody know how many degrees to adjust the timing for more aggressive performance?

If you advance the timing over the stock setting you run the risk of having bad engine knock. If you retard it from stock you actually will loose performance.

If you were running nos, a turbo or supercharger, you would retard the timing about 2° to combat engine knock.

dude u can bump it up a bit w/o problems. jsut not too much and it doesnt hurt to run a higher octane if you advance the timing. actually its reccomended.

retard it if u got juice or a blower

i was adjusting the timing last night and it wasnt to bad cuz i only put 91 octane gas in my car so i didnt really hurt the performance. still tryin to get it just right tho.
