Timing belt which size?Need Info
Ok taking the big step in doing my timing belt and went to purchase and found two different belt sizes that supposedly both fit my car 00 civic lx. one is 124 teeth 46 1/2 in length, the other 104 teeth 39 in. length how can both fit my car, and which one should i get? any info would be great.
i did and they said they only have a part number and dont have an actual size that they could tell me the belt is 55 dollars at honda and the goodyear is like 28 if i could just find what size to get
Call up the dealership again and ask if they have the part number for the timmingbelt for a D16Y7... if they ask you what that is tell them they need to find a new job lol
i looked at the goodyear website and it shows the smaller belt being for the y7 and y8 and the 124 tooth for the dohc engines b engines which makes sense. i'll probably go with the smaller one according to the goodyear website and if it's wrong can always take back.
