TIRE SIZE REPLACEMENT
Hi All,
Appreciate if you can help me with little inputs regarding replacing a standard civic tire (195x60x15) with 215x55x17 would affect car's performance in terms of maneuvering, fuel consumption, impact to engine, andoverall safety of the car.
Quite new in driving andhaslimited knowledge in techie part...
Thank you very much!

RE: TIRE SIZE REPLACEMENT
Go to Discount Tire's website and use their tire replacement computer. It'll tell you what sizes you can work with as far as the engine powerband stuff. Handling and safety are kinda relative - wider tires means bigger contact patch, which means better braking (usually) and more traction (usually).

You will probably need to go with the 205/40 or 205/45 if you are not planing on lowering
