What year Civic? I believe the TPS is part of the throttle body and does not require calibration.

You're supposed to replace the whole throttle body with TPS attached. They set them up at the factory and attach it with breakaway screws.

You can drill out the screws and replace the TPS only but then you would have to calibrate it with a meter.

There are a couple companies out now that are selling just the TPS sensors, and they're pretty easy to replace/calibrate. Buying the entire throttle body just to replace a <$50 sensor is just retarded.

You'll need to use a multimeter. Tap into the middle wire on the TPS and get your readings from there. You'll need to be between .45 & .50 at Closed throttle, and 4.5 & 5.0 at WOT.

Good to know. Thanks for the update on the TPS sensor.
