Transmission??
Hi Folks,
Happy new year! Have an 02 Civic EXautomatic with 70k. Tranny fluid level is OK and fluid was just changedby a Honda dealer.
When the engine is cold (temperature doesn't have to be -10 cold, lets say 25) the tranny seems to surge (slip?) right after it shifts. It shifts, and the RPM's build for a quick second after then drop. It seems to happen before it goes into OD.It stops doing this after several minutes (miles?) after the car is warmed up, but seems to do this every time its cold.
I know transmissions usually rev higher when they are cool, but not even on a derilect Taurus have I seen such actions!
The second question I have - is when you turn right (I think?) and give it gas, the transmission is fairlyjerks. It only seems to do this when you turn right.
Thank you very much!
