Default Trim problem

Hello Forum,

Need some help. Our 1997 Honda Civic 4dr fuse box door won't stay closed.

The metal retaining clip is on the tab of the door that goes into the lower dash panel.

Can someone tell me or post a picture of what this tab goes into?

Ours has a square hole, no metal retaining clip, and the Honda dealer shows no retaining clip for the lower dash to receive the fuse box cover door.

Thanks for your help in advance

I had a similar problem. You have to bend the metal clip off the fuse box access cover a little so it'll latch onto the hole in the lower dash panel.

Smile Thanks

I can't believe it was so simple.
Problem solved.
A little tweak on the clip, and the door stays up.
Here I thought I'd have to buy the $80.00 lower dash!
Thanks for the help.
