Default Trouble locating 1990 Honda Civic DX distributor

Distributor went out on my Civic, and for the life of my mechanics, they can't get hold of one in my area. So, I attempted the ebay thing and just browsing through Google... But ran into a pretty sticky problem.

I cannot find the model/part number on the old distributor, and I cannot find any manuals that identify the part number either.

Anyone have a clue to what OEM Reference/Part number should be for my Civic? Identifying the part and/or helping me find the proper distributor on eBay or some such would be of fantastic help.

I miss riding around in my car.

As far as I know, my Civic DX is factory engine, with no major upgrades. 1.5L.

there is a stamp, on the side of where the bolts go in the distributor to bolt it to the head.

any 88-91 civic dpfi will work. it should say TD-01U

Don't recall seeing the numbers when I inspected the distributor, but the other information you gave should be just fine. Thank you considerably.
