Exclamation Tuning and ECU question

I have a 60trim turbo on a b20 motor with b16 heads. It needs tuning and I just got this car and have a few questions. I was told I need a piggyback system for the ECU but it seems I can't find it. I was told without an aftermarket ECU my car wouldn't even been running right.

The ECU located on the passenger side foot panel reads 37820-P28-A02
There is something under the hood AEM 2710-0442

I have no idea what each of them are. I know my car needs to be tuned but without the piggyback system i'm looking at around 1,300 for tuning. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Piggy back systems are junk IMO. Chipping a P28 and having a tuner do it will be expensive, but replacing everything in your motor would be more costly.

I recommend P28 with Hondata s300. Should run you about $550 total. Take it to a reputable tuner (tow the car), and have them put it on a dyno for tuning. That may run you about $500 or so depending on the amount of time the tuner works on it.

No need to retune over a gasket change. It's good you gotta p28 thou now it might be tuned already, so is there anything leading you to beloved otherwise? If you know its not tuned, don't drive it. Tow it to a tuning shop and they can tune it for tou. Good luck bud

Woah... its turbo? eBay turbos are known to blow up or start burning oil due to cheap construction. I would replace the BOV if you think it is failing. What kind of a/f ratio gauge do you have? Is it hooked up to a wideband? What are your air/fuel ratios?

You dont have to re-tune after a gasket change. Only after you add/remove parts which should add power a tune would be necessary.

EDIT - And for the love of god, click the "edit" button in the bottom corner of your post if you need to change or add something real quick. Stop double posting. It drives me crazy to see that.
