So, have you checked the tie rod ends? If one of those broke, I'd leave the car exactly where it is until it's fixed, and consider yourself lucky. I know two people that had tie rod ends break while driving, and both cars were totaled.

i havent checked those but if u wont be able to drive the car when this happens then its not the problem i had to drive it at least 20 miles after my steering wheel turned upside down and it does turn the wheels but just not all the way one way feels like the steering wheels stops it from making the full turn

also it made that loud poping noise if i turned to much to the passenger side its like the wheel is slipping then catching again and by the time i did get the car back to my house the wheel slipped so much it was back in the normal postition

Don't drive any more like that. Really you should have quit driving when you realized you "need new tie rods".
Also when the wheel is out of sync you're likely to break the clock spring, which makes electrical connections from the air bag and horn button to the rest of the car.

ok i found out a tie rod are isnt broken because both my wheels are still parallel and stay to gather when i turn and it turns towards the drivers side perfectly fine its just when i go to turn all the way so
it seems like the loose steering rack and pinion is the mostly likely answer
thx for ur help every one

If you have manual steering,Peek under the car just below where the steering wheel is. Near the end of the rack assembly, there is the adjustment mechanism. Loosen the big lock nut, tighten the #14 bolt until it gets hard, then back half to a turn to loose. Replace the lock nut and tighten. You can reset alignment/position of the steering wheel by adjusting on the cross-joints on lower part of the steering column just before it goes to the floor.

car has power steering but idk how long it hasnt had a belt bought the car used and im pretty sure that since i dont have power steering this cause the problem from putting to much stress on the steering rack or pinion it either loosened to the point of slipping or teeth have broken on some part of the steering

AAAh.. now I realize that the two steering-related threads were both you. It sounds like there is a major problem with your rack, replace it and convert to manual don't worry about the pump. (The pump may be "jamming" because the rack is obstructing the flow of fluid. Or the whole system is full of debris.)
