So i bought my Apexi N1 exhaust for my 2000 civic DX and had her welded up cuz the kit was for the EX, so i got to thinking the guy i bought it from owns a shop and basically was telling me the benefits of turboing my D series, he swore by it, of course we know that the B/k series turbo is the end all be all, but im on a budget and want to smoke my friend's impreza straight line.

is it better to put a crower cam and cam gear and turbo my D16 or to swap to a NA B series? how does the Turbo'd D series fair?

 

Let me tell you from experience that the TurboD is VERY fun! Last night was my first chance to really rip into mine as we had finally finsihed the tune, and oh...my....god is it ever a blast. I would defintiely put together a homemade kit for the D long before I'd swap to an NA B
