Default turbo n00b questions

well as some of you know, i am VERY new to imports!!!

i am used to seeing $5000 supercharger systems and even more expensive turbo systems for muscle cars.

why does everything seem so cheap for civics? is $400 for a turbo system good?

do i need to build up the motor and forge the bottom end for a turbo setup?

thanks!

$400 is wayyyy too cheap. Well, unless someone is feigning to fulfill their crack addition and has a nice Greddy kit for $400 that's new. lol

Look through the stickies in the Forced Induction thread. There's a link in there that is "Everything you need/and could want for your Turbo kit" I would suggest to piece your own system together.
