well folks...it happend again..the car broke down...seems like i get it runing for a week or so and another thing goes wrong...my ecu is telling me "coolent temp" what could this be?...i was driving and all of a sudden the car just shut off and cant start again..seems like the fuel pump to me but the ecu is flashing 6 times...its in some parking lot somewhere...i am gunna get it home tomorrow and see if i can do some diognostic tests on it...seems liek the fuel pump but could be anything...i dont understand why it said coolent temp..any ideas?..oh yea the temp guag4e was fine...

and another thing...im thinking if i can sell the integra and the civic both im just gunna get a new civic...i think ill be lucky to get 1000 for both but...i know a guy who is selling a 2000 civic ex...with a body kit (that needs work) needs a back seat, needs a windsheild (rear i think) has 18 inch rims and neon underbody...but needs body work...which i think id put it back to stock...he wants 4500 for it..what do u guys think?

 

the motor in the teg should be worth more than a grand. so if you sell them, you should get a bit more than a grand for both. but i dont know if a car with a bunch of work needing done will be much more reliable than the car you have.

 

coolant temp sensor is the other sensor located under your dizzy(2 wire white plug). has the main relay ever been replaced to your knowledge? sometimes you need to re solder all the connections inside the main relay. as far as the other civic, imo there nice but the engine and computer system completly suck

 

you dont like the y8s?...or u just dont liek obd2? (00 is obd2 no?) im gunna try to get a new civic...what do they go for i havent looked in a while...like what would a decent 00-like a 03 go for?...

and sac..the work that needs to be done is mainly visual...and legal (windsheild)...he says it runs good...but im gunnna look into other options too..

the integra has a blown tranny still and needs paint and wheels....the civic needs motor work and paint..what do you guys suggest i ask for them?...i mean what would be a reasonable price that you might pay?

ahhhh man im gouing crazy...so i found out what was wrong with the civic...the timing belt went!...so...now...im broke and i do mean broke...and i have 2 cars that cant drive....so what do i do?...i have too much monye into the civic to get rid of it for what i can get for it..not runing and all....i need to find a tranny and shift linkage and get the integra registerd and insured to get that on the road...oh yea an wheels which will be 200....so...heres what i have...

the integra:
Tranny: up to 400
Shift linkage: up to 50
Wheels: 200
Registration: 25
Insurance: dont know how much it will raise.
=675+

THE CIVIC:
new motor: up to 500

or Rebuild: up to 500

what should i do?

 

try to finance...maybe ull get a good deal...first time buyers rate.
