Unknown new hole in driver's floor

I was trying to jack my car and i searched for jacking points. I saw a rubber curcle underneath my car and me being a nood i jacket there. As i raised the car, the jack went within the car and in to the car floor, raising the carpet and insulation. I now have a hole and a cap but it doesnt stay in place. Please help this (me) idiot out
