Default vibrations in every gear... help a newbie

my problem: (manual trans)car will vibrate in every gear till about 3000 rpms. I have replaced spark plugs and wires. checked air filter. checked motor mounts. was wondering if anybody had any suggestion on what might cause this. thought it might be an air/fuel mixture problem.

pull each plug wire off one at a time while its running (dont pull too high or it will shock the hell out of you, but unless you have a pacemaker or something, it shouldnt really hurt you.) see if one doesnt make the engine lope as bad when you pull the wire. it should drop when you pull it out, but one might not. also, check the ign. timing.

It happened to me ones. Not sure what exactly happened, I think that I touched a metal part in a spark plug wire. I didn’t hurt, but it did scare the **** out of me.
