Default Video of my car issue need help please

Hey there, new to the forums and wondering if anyone could help me. It's a 1994 Honda Civic DX. I have attached a video link for further help.

CEL will come on several times, engine will get jumpy and for some reason my speedometer starts spiking. Car will die and then I am able to restart it.

I got a CEL code of I guess 0 (it stays on solid). So would a bad ECU cause all this?

Before this the idle would kinda pulsate and make a droning up and down noise.

A new ECU is only $90 on ebay so that's an option if the replies state that the ECU is probably the culprit.

Any help or ideas would be great.

Sorry for the low quality of the video. I used my cell phone.

Check the ECU ground wires on the thermostat housing.

Wow, I replaced the thermostat yesterday and that's when it started doing this. Checked the ground, re-tightened the bolt, now no issues. One gold start for you, thanks.

Hopefully no more possessed car incidents.

The last car that I had a speedometer go weird like that ended up having a bad speed sensor. It wasn't a Honda but it sure seems like nearly the same problem.
