VTEC ON OBD2

Default VTEC ON OBD2

I know most of you guys going to tell me to search. I DID. but most of those topic arent related to obd2.. and the mini me conversion is for an obd1. i have a civic LX 96 with a 98 ex d16z6. i bought the car like that and saw the vtec wasnt wire up. my ecu code is 37820-p2e-a71 260-119812. i dont kno if this an ex or lx ECU. help?

okay i just saw another thread recently post saying a p72 is vtec for obd2 .. since my ecu says NUTHIN with p72 i'm going to assume i got non vtec ecu. now let's say i get the p72 ecu. which pin goes to which on the vtec solenoid??

ok,calm down. if you are running a d16z6 you will need a p28 ecu. they are out of 92-95 civic EX. find a p28 ecu and go from there. make sure its for a manual or automatic depending on what you have
