I have a unused water pump and timing belt in my garage. I had purchased for my wife's civic but sold the car before I got to install. It is 4 years old I now need to install belt and pump on my civic,should I have any concerns about age?

 

not with the pump but the rubber belt has a shelf life just like the rubber tires im not sure what the life is exactly but timing belts are fairly cheap. but depending on what the brands are would be more of a concern to me.
