Weird power loss/hesitation/surge question...
OK...I searched for solutions for this, but was unable to find what I am looking for. I am driving a 1997 Civic HX coupe. It has a new exhaust system (stock) from the cat back, cold air intake and a header. this is the way I got it.
When I accelerate onto the highway, it hesitates like it is losing power, then surges witha ton of power for a split second, then hesitates again. It seems to run a heck of alot better at 4000 RPM.
It DOES NOT surge at idle...only when driving in gear.
Any ideas?
