Default What trim do I have, please help!

Maybe you guys can help, I'm trying to find out if my civic is a cx dx lx ex.. etc... Where would I find this labeled on my car? Some things I do know about it are, year 2000, manual windows, manual mirrors, power door locks, cd radio, air con., 4way adjustable driver seat.
Looking at http://autos.aol.com/cars-Honda-Civic-2000/equipment it looks to be a DX, but is there anywhere on the car that would state the trim of the car??
Thanks a bunch.

I can tell you.

How many doors does it have?
Are they factory power locks (the lock button will have that factory look to it... you'll know)?
What is the engine code? (located where the pic below shows)

wait, could be an HX
find out the engine code
or... does it have cruise control?

If it's an automatic, what are the letters on the shift console?

EDIT: nevermind, pretty sure HX's are only coupes... may aunt has an HX and I was thinking it was a 4-door which was throwing me off.
You have an LX... 99% sure.
If your engine code is a D16Y7, then I am 100% sure.

Yeah HX is a 2dr, but the automatic trans is labeled from top to bottom: P R N D1 D2 2. It doesn't have cruise control. Ill check engine tomorrow for the code G'Night.

No need to check. With that information you just gave me I am 100% sure it's an LX. Your engine is a D16Y7.
That is, this all assumes you are in the US.

trust, unless things changed from a 98 to 00, my lx came with cruise control as part of the lx upgrade from a dx. are you sure?

doesn't the vin# tell you?

Your VIN# should be something like: 1HGEJ66 then followed by 2 = DX; 4 = EX; 7 = LX; so look at the 8th character; by the way EJ6 = D16Y7 engine; EJ8 = D16Y8 engine; the number 6 = automatic; 5 = manual

Go to the link in my sig and you'll find the factory manuals. download the 96-00 manual and go to p. 29 in the PDF doc or 1-27 on the actual manual pagination and you'll find it.
