Default where to buy honda atf?

do you guys know of any chain stores that sell honda atf? would a honda dealership sell it?

is buying online the only way to obtain this stuff? I ask because i've heard that you should use it instead of the other brands.

Instead of hunting for the Honda ATF..why not just use Dextron II?

That what it says in the Honda service manual anyway...(Ref. pg 14-49, step 5)

Honda dealership. If not local to one, you can try honda parts sites like www.hondpartsdeals.com. I bought MTF off of them for 50% off what the dealer had in front of me. lol

What manual is this? Honda recommends Honda ATF only.

I know that Bernardi sells and ships it, but Majestic won't.

Ok..It is the Honda service Manual I downloaded from this forum about a year ago. I don't know how to display pages here but it's the First Edition 9/91 with 1314 pages from Honda Motors LTD.
Everyone and their mother says to use Honda ATF only....Then one day when I wanted to make sure I had the right amount of ATF in my Transmission(after changing my radiator), and I discovered these 2 SHOCKING REVELATIONS

First Edition 9/91,(1314 pages), Page 14-49, Step 5.

And

Second Print of the First Edition 9/92(with 268 pages), Page 14-4, Step 5.

The problem is that you are making ATF recommendations for a 6th generation Civic using a 4th generation Civic manual. Recommendations should fit the car.
