I would assume it's the one in the glove box. Not 100% sure though.

Is your distributor getting power?

I'm not sure if the distributor is getting power but its a brand new distributor and we have no spark. I found the main relay behind the glove box and it clicks and I hear the fuel pump prime and their is gas on the plugs when i pulled them after cranking the engine.

I have no spark and we tried two distributors with no luck. WE changed the fuel filter. We tried everything really.

Now I am looking for the ecu ecm supposedly under the carpet on the passenger side but I pulled up the whole carpet and there is nothing there.

I'm so frustrated!!

Check whether dash fuse 9 is blown.

all fuses are good. The battery is charged. There is no fuel problem as far as I know.

Is the main relay only for the fuel pump? b/c the fuel pump primes and gas is flowing to the injectors and wets the plugs. WE changed the fuel filter too.

Can I rule out the main relay?

Please pay close attention. People tell me all day long that their fuses are fine, but they never actually test them. Test fuse 9 for voltage at both top test tabs.

To diagnose electrical issues you need a multimeter. No way around it.
