When i push the gas all the way to the floor from a dead stop my car slowly takes off but then it goes like a champ. i could probably beat my car running on foot at take off. why wouldnt it just take off right away?

 

you know what i jsut noticed this on my sol yesterday... like if i slam the gas from a stop [just to test it out] it will kinda sit there for a second than bam the rpms take off

 

you guys have automatics? my car takes off just fine as long as I'm not giving it too much clutch initially.

 

It's called no torque. Stock Honda engines have it.

That, or you have low quality gas and your ignition needs a tune up.

 

i know my Y7 had less torque than my b20.... so it cant really be that in my case since my Y7 never had this problem

and i didnt mean like it accelerates slow, i mean like when i hit the gas even when rolling it will like hesitate before going but if i dont push full down than it wont hesitate at all its kinda like a sputter sound but not really lol ..

i been thinking my ignition needs tune up but i texted the guy i bought it from and h said plugs are NGK and still pretty new and wires should have plenty of time left on em...
