wierd ass ticking sound (not good)

wierd *** ticking sound (not good)

when my engine is idoling theres a wierd *** tickin sound and i have no clue what it is. anyone know?

You probably need a valve adjustment.

Use a section of rubber hose to localize the noise. If the ticking is coming from the top of engine (head), then a valve adjustment issue is a good guess. If the noise is coming from the bottom of the engine (block), it could be a piston rod issue. Also check the many engine sensors, valves, solenoids, and injectors.
