Alright... My girlfriend's borrowing her friends '93 Civic because she took her to the airport yesterday. The motors shot in the window and if you roll it down it won't come back up. Being the bright one that she is my girl accidently rolled it down when we went to Sonic for food last night and I haven't been able to get the window back up. I've had this happen on a '98 Dodge Intrepid and I had to pull the inside of the door off and manually crank it up where the motor is. I've also had to do this on my '84 Nissan 300zxT but it didn't have the harness like a Civic does so I just direct connected to the battery and rolled it up like that.

Is there any way to get this up with a direct connection from the battery or without removing the door panel? I really don't have the time to take the door panel off because she has to go pick her up at the airport today around 6pm mountain time. If anyone has a tutorial on this or any insight hook me up.

 

for the time being just to get it up..when holding down the window up button, grab the window and pull or push it up..ether then that, im sure your gunna have to take the door panel off

 

ya theres a good chance that u'll have to take the panel off. and damn! i could sooooooo gooo for a Sonic milkshake right now...theres none in my area, i've only been to one and thats in Myrtle Beach, SC..I LOVE their food and shakes im starting to drool just thinking about it...

 

I'm having the same problem, and I tried to do what you said but I still couldn't get it up. My cars sitting in the garage today while I ride the bus. Hopefully the guy who I'm going to have look at it gets back today. Well if anybody can us both, that'd be great.
