Default Wiper Problem

This morning when I left for school I went outside, started my car, brushed off the snow then went back inside to brush my teeth and etc while it warmed up. On the way to school I got some spray on my windows and pushed down on the lever to clear it away.

Unbeknowst to me, the wipers were frozen to the windshield (yes I am dumb and forgot to check) so I heard teh motor try, it fail and then I thought nothing of it, I would fix it at school and it was not that bad anyway.

When classes were done I got in my car and saw that my window was now very bad, I went to use the washer. I unfroze my blades and pulled on the lever. The washer sprayed but the wipers stayed where they were, no movement or anything.

I am thinking my problem is either

A) fuse is blown (I will go change it in a few minutes) [EDIT changed teh fuse no change, sprayer and blade son same fuse]

or

B) the motor is hsot.

I am hoping it is not B becuase that will be more expensive and coudl be difficult.

Other facts:

1. Sprayer works
2. wipers do not work regardless of position
3. In intermitant mode there is a quiet "tick-click" sound from behind teh dash.

I have a car I can drive in the meantime but I need this fixed asap, any help appreciated.

Ok, after sitting in the garage for 3 hours, (a luxury my car is not usually afforded) I had to move it. I went out, started it and decided, for ****s and giggles to try the wipers, AND THEY WORKED!

I have no idea how or why and I am calling shenanigans & witchcraft.
