Wiring in an Autometer Monster Tach

Default Wiring in an Autometer Monster Tach

has any body wired in one of these that can give me help? I have everything hooked up, and it reads, but when I rev the engine the tach lags way behind. Any help would be appreciated

i have one in my car...is the tach new or used? did you get jipped?.....and were did you hook the tack signal wire up to?, i hooked mine to the the blue/siver tacksignal wire, mabey the conncetion to the tack wire? did you salder it toughter?

Most tachs have different settings for 4,6 and 8 cylinders. Did you set that right?

That would be my guess is to check and see if you have the tach on right setting, 4,6,8 cylinder. 2nd make sure your tach is wired correctly, if that doesnt fix it you probably have a tach problem.
