Default wiring knock

I wanted if any one knew what wire i could extract from a stock d15 (under hood) wiring harness to run for a knock wire.Or if there is a tip to running a knock wire that I have not thought of.I know that there are companys that offer a wiring kit,but I refuse to buy what I can make my self.I know how to there for I am.
I just wanted to save a little time.

Here is another question. Why would car have intermitten surging even at operating temp?I have replaced throttle body with a gude throttle body that I had laying around. There was some differences but I bypassed them.I bypassed coolant that used to go underneth TB straight to Air bypass???...Could this be the problem?

I am mech inclined. But never worked on Honda's before. So I'm not sure what some of the sensors are called.

Default RE: wiring knock

That's ok.I figured it out,and made one with a little soildering skill.
And i figured out that my surging situation is from a battery that will not hold enough charge.

But thanks for all your welth and knowledge.
