WTF SMOKE!

For some when i down shift and press the gas and proceed to upshift, my honda 1990(civic SI) is spiting out white exhaust smoke. why is this and what is the cause/reason? also can i fix it or take it 2 a shop?

Somoke on acceleration can be rings smoke on deceleration could be valve seals/guides

White smoke = burning coolant = usually blown head/head gasket

Blue smoke = burning oil = usually bad rings/valve seals
